The draft Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the adoption of the procedure for the processing of goods in the customs territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan” prepared by the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan is presented for public discussion on the discussion portal of regulatory documents of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

For further improvement of administrative procedures in the implementation of foreign economic activity, improvement of business conditions, as well as five priorities of development strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-2021 and the tasks set by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from December 12, 2018 "On measures for technical regulation, further development of certification and metrology systems in the Republic of Uzbekistan "No. PD-4059. On April 23, 2019 a decree "On further improvement of administrative procedures in the implementation of foreign economic activity" was adopted by the President of the Republic.

According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to improve the customs administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan and effectiveness of the activities of the State Customs Service of the Republic of Uzbekistan" dated November 24, 2018, by implementation of the automated system of risk management in the customs area, a special corridors for customs control under the goods and means of transport have been introduced.

Starting from February 1, 2019, customs authorities were given a number of powers to simplify the procedure of processing of foreign economic activity participants.

From February 1, 2019, for the first time in the country, "front office" started functioning at the customs posts of the State Customs Committee in Tashkent region, Tashkent city and at the customs post of the specialized customs complex "Tashkent-AERO".
