Over the past 4 years, technological equipment worth $ 8,328.5 million, or 17.5% of the total import volume, was imported into the republic.

At the same time, domestic production and processing of goods increased by an average of 7.8%, which indicates the presence of unused production potential of the republic.

The project was developed with the aim of maximizing the load on the republic’s industrial and processing capacities, increasing the export of finished goods and services, expanding domestic production, attracting foreign producers and investments, as well as increasing the income of tax deductions to the State budget.

The project was developed with the aim of maximizing the load on the republic’s industrial and processing capacities, increasing the export of finished goods and services, expanding domestic production, attracting foreign producers and investments, as well as increasing the income of tax deductions to the State budget.

According to the project, the proposal of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade and the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on simplifying the clearance of goods into the customs regime “processing of goods in the customs territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan” is approved.

Beginning January 1, 2020, a procedure will be established according to the requirements and conditions of which the processing of goods in the customs territory will be carried out with the identification of imported goods in their processed products, determining the norms of output of processed products, and also with the exception of goods falling under bans and restrictions.

It is established that the processing of goods in the customs territory will include the production of goods, processing, including installation, assembly of goods or fitting to other goods, repair of goods, including restoration and putting into working condition, packaging and sorting as well as cleaning them.
