In particular, at the border checkpoint "Tashkent International Airport" two passengers who completed the flight "Delhi-Tashkent" was stopped while trying to smuggle drugs worth 15 million UZS, out of customs control.
One of the passengers did not declare 93 drugs of 9 types and the other 203 drugs of 2 types in the passenger’s customs declaration and during an oral questioning by customs officials. Another passenger from Istanbul couldn't import 149 boxes of 2 types of medicines worth more than 13 million UZS as they were not for personal use.
In addition, one of the passengers of the flight "Moscow-Tashkent" with 209 units of various drugs worth 14 mln UZS were detained while trying to smuggle them under the guise of personal use.
At present, these drugs, the quality of which is not guaranteed, have been temporarily stored, and the investigation is underway.
