In particular, the staff of the Department for Combating Smuggling and Customs Audit of the Customs Administration of the Republic of Karakalpakstan during the operation in Turtkul district had stopped a "Cobalt" vehicle driven by citizen E.Sh. and inspected it in the prescribed manner.

As a result, 209 pieces of "Tropicamide 1.0%" and 165 pieces of "Regapen" drugs was discovered wrapped in a black cellophane package.

It was found out that the citizen was bringing these drugs to N.S., a resident of Turtkul district.

As a result of the event, the illicit trafficking of potent drugs worth 60.5 million soums was stopped.

The customs authorities are investigating the case.
