In particular, inspectors were concerned about the behavior of a citizen K.I., who arrived by the route "Istanbul-Tashkent" at the border customs post "Tashkent International Airport".

After that, when the pram of the minor child of this citizen was inspected by customs, 195 gr. of jewelry hidden from customs control was found in it. The part of these items, 65 grams of gold jewelry that exceeds the norms of duty free import for individuals, and which worth, according to preliminary estimates 22.7 million. UZS were seized.

Note that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 6, 2018 "On measures to further regulate the movement of goods across the customs border by individuals" PD-3512, jewelry made of precious metals and precious stones up to 65 grams can be imported without customs duties.

An investigation is underway.
