In particular, officers of the Combating smuggling and customs audit department of the Tashkent City Customs administration, in cooperation with the "Chukursoy" FEA customs post, exposed an attempt to smuggle goods not specified in the cargo documents.

A cargo container brought from a foreign country to the company operating in Andijan region was inspected by customs officers.

As a result, there were goods worth 6.2 bln. soums not registered in declaration.

According to preliminary estimates, 2.6 bln. soums of customs duties should be payed for them.

At present, the customs authorities are investigating the case.
