During the operation carried out by the Main department for combating smuggling and customs audit of the State Customs Committee in Andijan region, it was revealed that drugs and medical supplies were secretly stored in one of the houses.

According to preliminary data, two adjacent houses in Andijan district were inspected in accordance with the established procedure and with the participation of attesting witnesses. As a result, more than 3,800 medicines of 6 types and 10,000 pieces of adhesive plasters were found in these houses.

The total value of these goods, produced abroad, but without quality and customs clearance documents, is about 1.3 bln. soums.

At present, the customs authorities are investigating the case.
