Employees of the customs administration of Jizzakh region took an operational event against the illicit trafficking of highly dangerous substance "mercury".

During the event, citizen A.B. was caught selling 3.2 kilograms of mercury for $ 17,500.

Currently, the customs authorities are investigating the case.
