As it is known, at the meeting on the priority tasks of reforming the system of foreign economic activity, tasks on equipping customs posts with modern technologies and launching the remote control system - Situation Center by October 1 this year was given by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoev.

Situation center is a special center equipped with high-speed communication technologies and plays an important role in operational management decisions.

It was noted at the meeting that the facility would be an effective tool for law enforcement agencies in the fight against transnational organized crime, including drug trafficking, and a practical expression of digital customs. The sides also expressed confidence that this will give impetus to new initiatives of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime.

The Situation Center is planned to be commissioned this year.
