In particular, employees of the Department of Combating Smuggling and customs violations of the Customs Administration of Tashkent city and Tashkent region jointly with the State Border Protection Committee of the State Security Service held an operational event in Keles.

During the event, a resident of a neighboring state F.M. was detained by officers on suspicion of smuggling marijuana in packages, which the citizen brought as trial consignment  to a citizen A.X..

The operation was continued and the resident's house was searched in the prescribed manner, and it was established that the man was storing large quantities of drugs in his home.

During the event, a total of 655.44 grams of marijuana and one herb were seized as physical evidence.

In this case, the customs authorities initiated a criminal case according the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.
