The department for Combating smuggling and customs violations of the State Customs Committee, together with law enforcement officers from the State Security Service, prevented the illegal circulation of cash foreign currency.

The Сustoms committee and the State Security Service officers detained a citizen who tried to take out over 516 thousand US dollars illegally.

During the operational event held on October 3, 2019 in the Ferghana region, a car of the brand "LADA XRAY" belonged to citizen M.N. was stopped while driving to a neighboring country.

After stopping, driver M.N. was detained while trying to hide, wrapped in a ball of black packages in the fields near the highway.

Having studied the contents of these black packets with the participation of citizen M.N. and witnesses, law enforcement officials found that there were 516,486 US dollars in cash, which planned to export to a neighboring country.

Currently, foreign currency in cash has been seized as physical evidence and investigative measures are continuing on this fact of the offense.
