At a bilateral meeting, the sides paid special attention to the implementation of the Intergovernmental Agreement on the Trading System.
The heads of customs services approved the technical conditions for information cooperation.
As previously reported, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived to this country on July 31 after the invitation of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
At the talks, as a continuation of the Uzbek-Belarusian dialogue held in Tashkent in 2018 at the highest level, it is planned to discuss the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, as well as relevant issues of the regional and international agenda.
Upon completion of negotiations, the heads of state will sign a Joint Statement and a package of documents that will serve to increase multilateral partnership between Uzbekistan and Belarus to a new level.
These agreements will create a solid foundation for expanding cooperation between the two countries in the fields of investment, production, scientific and technical cooperation and establishment of direct ties between the regions.
