The State Customs Committee continues to take measures to counteract the illegal export of gold and jewelry through the customs border.

509 grams of gold jewelry were confiscated at customs post

In the presence of witnesses, it was revealed that this person was attempting to take away four types of gold jewelry, wearing his neck and hands. The total value of these 295 gr. jewelry was about 118 million soums.

On the same day, another citizen M.M. also used the "method" as above to take away three types of jewelry hidden from the customs control. But this "method" did not work again. As a result, he also couldn't take out the jewelry weighing 214 gr. and worth 85.6 mln. soums.

Currently, customs investigations are under way.
