Employees of the Combating smuggling and customs audit department of the Bukhara Regional Customs administration conducted an operation in Gijduvan district to prevent drug trafficking.

During the operation, the residence of citizen B.A. was inspected in the prescribed manner. During the investigation, it was found that the man had kept marijuana, cannabis and poppy seeds in matchboxes and hashish wrapped in a piece of paper.

As a result, 1,625 grams of marijuana and hashish were seized as material evidence. At present, the customs authorities are investigating the case.
