Yesterday, customs officers of Kashkadarya region, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, held an emergency operation in Chirakchi district.

During the operation, it was revealed that 836 bushes of "Opium poppy" weighing 9 kilograms 330 grams was illegally planted and cared for in the yard of a resident of B. R.

The customs authorities are currently investigating the case.
