There are more and more evidence in the world that psychotropic drugs cause irreparable harm to health.
Illicit import of psychotropic drugs have been prevented

The Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 12, 2015 “On improving the import, export and transit through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, as well as control over their circulation” approved the list of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors, turnover which is prohibited or limited in the Republic of Uzbekistan. And also, the same Decree approved the Regulation on the procedure for passing licensing procedures for obtaining a certificate for the import or export of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and precursors.

Some citizens, despite the current procedure, are still trying to hide from customs control and secretly import psychotropic drugs into the territory of our state.

In particular, the employees of the border customs post “Daut ata” in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, in accordance with the established procedure, carried out customs control with respect to a citizen A.B. who arrived at the customs post from a neighboring state.

As a result of a search in hand luggage, among the personal belongings of a citizen were found 120 units of the "Andipal" medicine hidden from customs control, which contained the psychotropic substance Phenobarbital in the amount of 20 mg in each tablet, as well as 100 units of the psychotropic drug "Baklosan"

Currently, according to the revealed fact of the offense, customs checks are underway.
