Officers of the Department for Combating smuggling and customs violations of the Specialized customs complex "Tashkent-AERO" held an perational event, during of which surveillance over a citizen M.A., who arrived from abroad, was installed. A citizen was caught red-handed when he collected mobile phones illegally brought into the territory of Uzbekistan at a parking place near airport.

During the inspection, 11 units of iPhone11 phones, 17 units of electronic watches and perfumes for a total of 140.5 million soums were found in the passenger compartment of a car owned by a citizen.

Currently, customs checks are being carried out on the fact of violation.
