That is why customs officers are constantly taking measures to combat offenses related to the illegal import of drugs and medicines of unknown quality into the territory of our state.

The employees of the Department for Combating Smuggling and Customs Violations of the Regional Customs Administration in the Tashkent region and representatives of the State Security Service in Bekabad district held a joint operational event.

During the event, near the state border, located on the territory of the Bekabad district of Tashkent region, law enforcement officers noticed a suspicious man, a citizen of a neighboring state, who carried large bags with him.

As a result of customs inspection conducted with the participation of witnesses, 6369 units of 16 types of medicines produced abroad were found in citizen's bags, without relevant documents, in the amount of about 75 million soums.

Currently, customs checks are being conducted on this fact of violation.
